Research on the Effect of Employee Performance Improvement Based on thePerformance Management Model Integrating OKR and KPI

Performance management is the key link of enterprises to excite human capital and maintain core competitiveness. The performance management model integrating OKR and KPI is an important research route to optimize this link. Firstly, this paper clarifies the connotation of OKR and KPI, analyzes the essence links between them, and then discusses the value meaning of integrating OKR and KPI. Secondly, it describes the mechanism of OKR and KPI integration model contributing to improve employee performance from three aspects: goal alignment, execution empowerment, and incentive adaptation. Finally, some optimization paths such as forming a dynamic and flexible strategic goal element of integration, establishing a cooperation execution system with a strict guarantee but flexible empowering were proposed, providing theoretical and reference values for enterprises to improve employee performance on the basis of performance management model of integrating OKR and KPI.
